Apricots,
dried, ready to eat

Inexpensive brand, 70cl

Method

  1. Take a large sterilised jar and lid
  2. Add the dried apricots and sugar
  3. Pour in the vodka
  4. Stir well, cover and leave for two weeks, stirring often
  5. Drain the apricot brandy into a jug, then bottle.
  6. Dry the apricots on kitchen paper.
  7. Dip halfway into melted plain chocolate and lay on baking parchment until the chocolate has hardened
  8. Can be made with dried dark cherrries
